By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the You Know Me (YKM) mobile application and its corresponding web responders interfaces (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not download, sign up for, or use our Services. These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and the YKM development team.

To access certain features of the app, such as creating quizzes, templates preview, and viewing inbox stats, you must register for an account using a Google Login credential or anonymous session.

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years of age to register or use the Services. If you are under 13, you are strictly prohibited from creating accounts.
• Account Security: You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. YKM is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to protect your login tokens.
• Suspension: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

Creators can design customized friendship challenges, quizzes, and polls about their personalities.

• Quiz Availability: Quizzes are hosted on public web pages accessible via shared links (e.g. youknowme.fun/u/username). You agree that anyone accessing this link can view and answer your quiz.
• Prohibited Content: You may not create quizzes that contain harassment, bullying, sexual content, hate speech, threats of violence, or defamatory material. Text validation mechanisms and reporting structures are in place.
• Control Options: You can pause submissions on active links or delete specific quizzes from your in-app controls.

Responders can participate in quizzes shared by creators without needing to download the app or register for an account.

• Nicknames: You must provide a nickname to submit responses. You agree not to use offensive, impersonating, or vulgar nicknames.
• Honest Submissions: You agree to answer questions in good faith and avoid using scripts, scrapers, or automation engines to submit bulk answers.
• Visibility: Your answers and scores will be sent directly to the creator's inbox and leaderboard. YKM does not guarantee the privacy of your responses from the creator.

YKM offers premium subscription features gated behind Google Play Billing v7 (e.g., advanced templates, response exports, customizable leaderboard settings).

• Payment Terms: All billing, invoicing, and subscriptions are handled directly through your Google Play Store Account. Payments are subject to Google Play’s payment policies.
• Sub-Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription renewal at any time through the Google Play subscription manager.
• Refunds: Subscription payments are non-refundable. Refund queries must be routed to the Google Play Store support desk.

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for abuse, exploitation, and bullying on YKM. We enforce safety checks via:

• AI Text Moderation: Pre-filtering incoming names and quiz options for offensive keywords.
• Reporting Systems: Responders and creators can flag inappropriate content or report users.
• IP Blocking: We reserve the right to ban users, suspend accounts, and block IP ranges from accessing our web domains to maintain community safety.

The Services, including YKM logos, UI designs, codebases, theme configuration files, custom graphics, and templates, are owned exclusively by the YKM developers and are protected under copyright and trademark laws.

You retain copyright over any custom text and quiz questions you submit. By posting content on our public web servers, you grant YKM a worldwide, royalty-free license to store, format, and render your questions for the purpose of running the quizzes.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, YKM and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Services.

This includes, but is not limited to, losses from unauthorized database breach, account suspension, network downtime, or offensive responder inputs.

These Terms of Service and any dispute arising out of or related to your use of YKM shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the principal developer operates, without regard to conflicts of law provisions.
